We had two chilli plants. They always do well here. I´m not sure what we´re going to do with them al as they´re so spicy you only need half one with no seeds for a very hot meal for two, and we still have a botlle of sauce that Matt made with them last year - his own version of tabasco, but hotter. Maybe some harissa paste...

Maybe you could liquidize them, add some melted jelly and spread the mixture around your plants to keep the slugs off.
Sorry, I've just come of Martin's blog and am feeling a little manic.
Lorenzo.

Your chilies and your view?

Hot view and cool Chilies (have I got that the right way around?)

Martin, yes, my chillies and my view (she says feeling smug!).

You've every right to feel smug growing all those chillies!

Have you found anything to do with them yet? How about taking them to the village and flogging them?

They're still drying. Most villagers around here wouldn't touch them with a barge pole - traditional Spanish cuisine avoids the use of anything too spicy.

I did like your idea for a slug repellent, although we've recently been told that copper rings around the base of each plant works a treat.

You see the thing is - Elbi, Scaredy, the Llama and yourself only see the good ones. You can imagine surely how many photos I had to take to get the ones he would allow on his blog?

He looks versatile because I have nothing better to do than load up my memory card with hopeless photos of a fat cat, just to get a couple worth posting.

Did you notice his tummy roles? Not fair I know, but Plumpy seems to like being plumpy.

Aaaachooo!
