Oh they are so lovely. I love cows and puppy dogs and kittens and shit.
Surprised you haven't been up Shining Tor. Next time you are here I'll take you up and to the pub at the end. Or we could cross over to the Cat and Fiddle, have a few, and stagger back a different route.
p.s. what is 'The Sea' like? I just got it out of the library, but took one look through it and there is no conversation at all in it. I feel a bit like Alice looking through her sister's book with no illustrations or speach!
Lorenzo, I like that idea. Next time I´m back in the UK (I´ve not been since June 2005) you´re on.
I enjoyed The Sea very much, although it was a slow read. You have to savour each sentence to really appreciate it. It´s like a stream of memory hence the lack of dialogue.
Mags, yes, puppies can be cute, although I much prefer kittens and what they grow into. And that calf must have his tail like that permantently, or else he was put off by the audience - no fertilising took place while the shots were taken.
I should bloody well hope no fertilising was taken place. This isn't David Attenborough don't you know. We leave all that sort of messy stuff to Maalie.
Oh those cows are just lovely! I'm with you Raelha and Magdalene. Puppies are ok, but not to keep. I actually prefer cats to kittens. Plumpy came to live with me when he was already fully grown.
If anyone would like information about any aspect of moving to and living and working in Asturias, or Spain, please feel free to email me (see my profile page) or just leave a comment on my latest post telling me how I can get in touch with you.

I'm so glad you managed to snap that calf just before he enriched the field with a nice pile of fertilizer.
Puppies are so cute. It's just a pity they turn into dogs which likewise leave unwanted fertilizer everywhere.
By the way, the only comment notifications I've received over the past few days, are yours Raelha. Is anyone else not getting them?

I like very much the cows. I think I shall save these cow pictures very much. Gracias.
Was Plumpy Plump when he first came to you?
Love the cow shots....and those puppies are sooooo darn cute!!!!
Melody, Meta, yes, they're not bad are they.
Jls, felines come into their own when they grow up. Kittens are cute, but cats are superlative.
Quite right Raelha, I am.
Scaredy! My orange cat Jackson would like to meet you. Do you enjoy mouse-cricket? What about aerial birdnappping?
I'm going to pretend the puppies are tiny holsteins.
You may extend a paw in friendship to Jackson.
